Farrans shortlisted for two Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards
The Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards, one of the most important business awards initiatives in Northern Ireland, has revealed its shortlist for 2024 and we are proud to be listed in two of the categories.
We have been shortlisted for the Best Employee Development Programme – Large Business – in recognition of our investment in our Emerging Leaders Programme. This programme is focused on developing a highly technical and competent workforce into future leaders of the business. Through an extensive year long programme that consists of 10 modules, the agenda enables participants to lead in a challenging industry.
Our project team Farrans Sacyr JV, who are on site delivering Belfast Grand Central Station, have been shortlisted for the ‘Team of the Year’ award.
The Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards reward exceptional companies and organisations focused on their people by recognising excellence in the workplace.
Irish News designate editor-in-chief Chris Sherrard said: “It’s people who drive and add value to any organisation, and our 2024 awards will be another celebration of the exceptional standards they demonstrate in different aspects of economy.
He added: “Everyone who puts themselves forwards for our awards is recognising the importance of working closely with their staff at all levels, regardless of the size of the organisation, and how vital it is to have proper strategies in place for developing the huge talents which are out there in the field of employment.”
The awards event will take place on Thursday 6th June in Titanic Belfast.
