Annual golf event raises £500 for Mind Bristol

This year’s annual golf day, organised by Farrans, took place at the Wyboston Lakes Golf Course and raised £500 for Mind Bristol.

Mind Bristol is a mental health resource for people in Bristol and the surrounding areas providing a helpline service, counselling, information and volunteering.

Michael Lavery, Design Manager, took on the challenge of arranging the event on our behalf.

He said: “Firstly I would like to thank our supply chain who supported the day so generously – Sunbelt Rentals, Vision Fabrication, Highview Roofing, Harrogate Steel, Chalk Creatives, McCartan Joinery and Conneely Construction. Our own Richard Weir won the day with an impressive 43 points off an 18 handicap. Runner up went to a past champion, the infamous Lee Simpson, with 40 points off a 20 handicap.”
