Farrans shortlisted for three CEF Excellence Awards
We are delighted to have been shortlisted for three awards ahead of the CEF Excellence Awards on Thursday 5th October.
Signature at Hendon Hall for our client Signature Senior Lifestyle has been recognised in the category of GB or ROI Refurbishment Project of the Year above £2.5m. This was a complex restoration project located in North West London which combines stunning Grade II listed period splendour with contemporary luxury accommodation, five star amenities and award-winning care.
Aster House for our client CA Ventures is listed in the Multiple Occupancy category following a highly technical and complex project to deliver 253 student bed spaces over 5 storeys in Belfast city centre. This unique scheme was built on a 20-year old podium previously constructed for another scheme by Farrans which runs directly over the main railway route into Belfast city centre. We worked with the client through a PCSA period to ensure the structure was suitable for this scheme.
Our in-house learning and development team has been shortlisted for the Excellence in Training award. Our award winning team is made up of facilitators, coaches and behavioural specialists who are there to help our colleagues reach their full potential through ongoing learning.
We provide opportunities in line with your bespoke career pathway including experience on a diverse variety of sites, learning with a mentor and further and higher education study.
Our two year graduate programme, Farrans Foundation, was this week also awarded the status of CPD Approved Graduate Development Programme by Engineers Ireland, becoming only the third construction and civil engineering company on the island of Ireland to hold the accolade. Farrans Foundation is fully aligned to chartership with the relevant professional bodies including IEI, ICE,CIOB RICS and ICES.
