Laptops donated to The Edinburgh Remakery

We were delighted to visit and donate 10 of our used and refurbished laptops to The Edinburgh Remakery in Leith, an award-winning environmental social enterprise committed to diverting waste from landfill to build & promote a culture of repair and reuse.

Our colleague Laura Sutherland, Community Business Partner, has engaged with this business throughout the life cycle of the Edinburgh Trams to Newhaven project. They organise initiatives which provide people and communities with the skills and opportunities to live more sustainably.

Laura said: “It was great to return to The Edinburgh Remakery in their new premises and learn even more about how they continue to grow as a charity. It is clear that this is a social enterprise that is very forward-thinking, which looks to provide meaningful, innovative community solutions to an extremely advanced, evolving society.”
