Two Farrans’ projects shortlisted for British Construction Industry Awards 2023
Two of our projects have made it through to the shortlist for the British Construction Industry Awards 2023.
We were the main contractor for the Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge which has been shortlisted in the Cultural & Leisure Project of the Year category. Set at one of the acclaimed series’ original filming locations at Linen Mill Studios, Game of Thrones Studio Tour takes visitors closer to the Seven Kingdoms than ever before.
Anglian Water’s Strategic Pipeline Alliance has also been shortlisted for Carbon Net Zero Initiative of the Year and Product Innovation of the Year. The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is an alliance of Anglian Water Services, Farrans Construction, Mott MacDonald Bentley | MMB, Costain Group PLC and Jacobs who are contracted to deliver one of the largest water infrastructure projects in the UK.
Brought to you by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and New Civil Engineer, the BCIA are the most prestigious awards in the built environment sector that seek to recognise and reward excellence in project delivery and, crucially, delivering positive outcomes for society. These awards also celebrate the hard work and dedication of the whole project team – clients, architects, designers and contractors.
There are 20 award categories, all judged by an independent panel of 80+ expert judges.
The British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA) are on Wednesday 11 October 2023 in the Great Room at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
