FS JV Charity Ball raises in excess of £21,000 for great causes
A charity ball hosted by Farrans Sacyr Joint Venture, who are delivering the main works on the NI Executive Flagship Belfast Grand Central Station project alongside Translink, has raised in excess of £21,000 for a number of great causes.
The nominated charities include the NI Air Ambulance, Marie Curie, NI Chest, Heart and Stroke and Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
The black-tie event was arranged together with the wider project team of Babcock, Graham and Translink to celebrate the people who have been involved in the construction of Belfast Grand Central Station.
The collaborative spirit and project success to date inspired the planning for an unforgettable one-off evening which started with a drinks reception in the new station before a chartered train transported everyone to the historic setting of the Ulster Transport Museum.
Nearly £5,000 was donated as part of the raffle held on the night of the event.
Fundraising from this event has brought the total amount of donations made by FS JV as part of this project to £62,000.
